This week's challenge with my Fab and Sassy friends on SCS was to make a card with flowers. We started April off with a rain card so we are ending it with flowers. April Showers Bring May FLOWERS! Yay!
I have had a rough week between work, personal issues and a severe tornado hit my town! (I live in Suffolk, VA) So today's card is very simple. The is 4.25" square so it will fit in a standard envelope. I stamped the flowers from Just Celebrate on Confetti White and colored them with my SU markers. I then accented the middle with brads. The DP is from the Hostess pack of Pallette O' Prints in the S/S 08 SU catty. I FINALLY used my striped ribbon that I have had for about two months now! I love it- I just don't use it.
Anyway, thanks for looking! Here's hoping that next week's a better stamping week for me!

Very cute little card. Love the little popped up flower...

pretty pretty card! love the fact that it goes into a regular card envie. we pass through your area often traveling on I-95 from SC to DE. was horrified to learn where the tornados had touched down...and the devastation! amazed that you were able to stamp at all, much less come up with such a beautiful creation in the midst of what must be chaos!!! TFS ... and God bless!!

Your card is so pretty and very fitting for our challenge. You need to use that ribbon more often (it reminds me that I have some that needs to be used, too).
