This Prismatics paper was in our goody bag at the WNY gathering and I wanted to make a thank you card for the donator with some of it. I am also breaking out this fabulous dress I picked up at The Stamp Barn. I punched two colors of the leaves and overlapped them to create a shadow effect and added some rose red and sepia pencil for shading on the bud. I love stamps that have color faces so I know how to shade the item since I am primarily a copier, but sometimes a creator. I copied the shading for the dress which was stamped and embossed in black on my cranberry prismatic paper, then washed with a bit of rose red and sepia WC pencil. I used my new SU markers to color the dress swirls in olive and applied them to the bg along with French script done in versamark

What a great idea to use their paper to send a card! Very pretty!

Wow! This dress turned out great! I love how you shaded it! Wonderful accents all around with the leaves and the little stud at the top. The flourishes and script make a great base for this!
