I made this card for my nephew's new baby boy who was born at the end of March. I used Beate's Weekend Sketch Challenge 45. I used a paper tole technique. You can see the layers better in the close up.
Here are the particulars:
Stamps: SU! Toy Box, Papertrey Mixed Messages
Ink: Stazon Black
Paper: Watercolor, Certainly Celery, Bashful Blue, Almost Amethyst
Extras: Cuttlebug Swirls Embossing Folder and tag, SU! Taffeta ribbon, Star Dust Stickles, Spica Lemon glitter pen, Amuse Twinkle dot rhinestone sticker, dimensionals
Friends are like the walls of a house. Sometimes they hold you up, sometimes you lean on them. But sometimes, it's enough to know they're just standing by.

Love this pretty card and the swirly embossing looks sensational with the little sailboat.

This is just beautiful! I love the whole thing and think that this adorable little thing is going to be my inspiration for some baby announcements of my own--just wonderful dimension and colors and texture!
