Here is my card for today's Limited Supplies Challenge- Follow the List: Scraps Edition #1. Here is the list of requirements:
1. the card must be square, any size (mine is 4-1/4" x 4-1/4")
2. you can only use scraps (I have TONS of scraps!)
3. you can use scrap ribbon and fiber
4. only ONE embellishment (I may have bent this one a bit as I used 3 half pearls, but they are all one type of embellishment!)
5. use any colors, stamps, tools
I made this card for my friend Shayla's birthday, and I wanted to make her something pretty and elegant. The ONLY piece of scrap ribbon I had was this black May Arts satin ribbon, so I had to use black in my card. I decided I wanted to use groovy guava too, I like how it looks against the black and it is such a pretty color. I had a piece of scrap Ginger Blossom dsp, so I used that as the main bg panel. I stamped the En Francais bg over the dp in basic black ink. The main image (from Bloomin' Beautiful) is stamped on watercolor paper in black stazon. I colored it in using Julie Buhler's Watercoloring with Markers technique, here is the link to the tutorial: Watercoloring With Markers Tutorials at Splitcoaststampers. I used the ticket corner punch on the main image panel and it's mat layers. The ribbon is a scrap piece of May Arts satin. I used Tombo Mono Multi Adhesive to attach the cream half pearls (from the Pretties Kit) to the ribbon. Inside the card I stamped the "Birthday Wishes" sentiment from Sincere Salutations in basic black ink.
Thanks for looking and please don't send the challenge police out for me, I'm a first time offender!!!

I think we should let the pearls slide. This card is gorgeous.
