I colored the image with Pure Color Pencils, then used mineral spirits to blend them with a blending stump. I then clear embossed it.
The panel behind it is a technique I learned at one of Faith's Technique Classes a while back. It is called Faux Leather. It is where you take masking tape in little pieces and put them on cardstock. You then rub ink pads on it in graduating colors. I used Only Orange, Pumpkin Pie, and Really Rust. Then you imediately emboss it with clear EP, cut around the edges, and viola, you have Faux Leather.
What do y'all think??

I've seen the faux leather done before but never as well as yours. I had to go back and look at the card a second time because it looks so beautiful I'd totally missed it the first time. YOU made me see value in a technique I hadn't liked before. Thank you. Bravo!
