This is one of the cards I taught in my technique class this week, which focused on cracked glass.
I wanted to stick with some softer colors for this one and keep the overall design simple so that the focus would stay on the image. The flower was stamped using Basic Black on WW cardstock, then colored using WW pencils and an aquapainter. After completing the cracked glass, I sponged some Mellow Moss and Perfect Plum into the cracks to help distress the image.
The cardstock base was first distressed with Pale Plum ink, then the definition stamp was also added with the same color. The bloom was stamped with Perfect Plum. I finished it off with the ribbon slide from the new Hodgepodge Hardware and white taffetta ribbon.
Thanks for looking!
