I made this for my friend who is getting baptised this weekend.
I embossed gold on watercolor paper and watercolored it. Next, I cut the Really Rust card stock to 5x7. From the top I measured down 3/4" and drew a line, from that line I went down 3 3/4" and drew another horizontal line. Next, I measured 7/8" up from the bottom, and another line 1 1/8" up from that line. From the sides I measured in 1 1/8".
So... the lighthouse cut-out ends up being 2 3/4" x 3 3/4" and the verse cut-out is 2 3/4" x 1 1/8".
After I cut it out, I traced it onto cream mat board, then added 1/8" to the edge to the 2 cut-outs. I then extended those lines to make it easier to see where to cut with the mat cutter (I erased the inner lines so I wouldn't be tempted to cut on those lines).
Thanks for looking.

This is just so peaceful. What kind of matboard cutter do you use? I've tried several different cutters but none produce the quality I am looking for.
Thanks for your wonderful instructions.
