Hi! This decorated mirror was made for today's Color Combo Challenge: Pretty In Pink, Certainly Celery, and Chocolate Chip.
I made two IDENTICAL projects for this challenge so that I could have both SIDES showing in the photo. Alas, DH will NOT let me purchase a photo editing program, so I'm stuck making 2!LOL!
Stephano the Italian Sea Turtle just finished eating a large plate of linguini and clams, so he was quite happy to relax on my mirror project. (I designed this project several months ago and just recently presented it at a Projects Class. I have given these as gifts to several friends who keep them on their desks at work!) (The general public "SEAs" the sentiment!) OMGosh! I crack MYSELF up! LOL!
The base for each project is 2 coasters. They were covered with SU! designer papers. (I used the Certainly Celery from last year's Sale-a-bration and this year's Level One Print Pack's Pretty in Pink.) I cut 2 4" squares of each color for each project.
I used the corner rounder on each corner of the papers and adhered them to the coasters. I added dots and Jumbo Eyelets. They are held together with various ribbons and twine. (I sneaked into Markie's beading supplies and found some chunky beads and charms and added them to the twine.) The "A Frame" design keeps the mirror from falling down!
All the images are from H&M Stamps, the Grand Opening will be Friday, April 25! YAHOO!!!!
The images were stamped on designer papers, and card stock. I used Stampin' Up! markers and Signo pen to color them in.
The sentiment says, "You SHORE look Marvelous, Darling!" and was computer generated.
The mirror was bought at Hobby Lobby. I used a Coluzzle to cut the mats for it.
