I made this for my grandma's birthday. She loves flowers and collects postage stamps, so I thought this would be a nice combination of images for her.
The party is in three days, on Thursday, and now my husband likes this so much, he wants to keep it so I have to make another one!!! Argh argh argh.
This is smaller than the usual 5.5 x 4.25 'cause we got her a gift certificate to Trader Joe's, which came in an envelope, so I was being lazy and just cut the card to fit the free envelope.
The words "bon anniversaire" ("happy birthday") are from Stampin' Up!'s French version of Birthday Whimsy (Fantaisies d'anniversaire).
The potted flowers are from Angi B & Co, who are unfortunately in the process of going out of business.
Stamps: Être heureux (Be Happy), Fantaisies d'anniversaire (Birthday Whimsy), Angi B & Co., Technique Tuesday, Stampington & Co
Paper: Neenah's Paper Classic Linen (Solar White), Strathmore's 140 lb cold-pressed watercolour paper (faux postage stamp and "pour vous"), generic flat white cardstock (flower and circle), dark brown
