What a timely challenge, Beth! And thanks to Pinefeather for a to the point tutorial! I made a model for my folder and then away I went!
I decided to use MME "Bella" mother dots for my base, it is double sided and a wonderful orchid on the back. I used the diamond pattern embossing folder on the front. I matted the lexicon of love 'Thanks' onto MME "Sisters" which had been run through the cuttlebug with the paisley embossing folder. I inked the thanks in VersaColor black and embossed in clear. I used Fiskars scalloped scissors to edge the sentiment and then sponged VersaMagic Chalk ink in Spring Pansy alone the edges. The ribbon is an unknown organza, I finished it off with a MM clip in lavender and a mix of Primas and an eyelet brad.
I love the size of this card and will be giving it away tomorrow to thank a carpooling friend for totin' my youngest son every Tuesday and giving me the gift of a few hours of ME time! For that I am very grateful!!!

so very One4Joy-ful!!! I just love how you can mix so many patterns and textures and give us such eye candy, never busy or cluttered looking. That spring pansy color is very pretty. WTG!
