So my sweet little niece is getting married and I am so thrilled for her! Today's Try a New Technique Challenge came is SO handy. Misty's shower is THIS WEEKEND! I haven't had a chance to go shopping for her and I think I will be putting this MOST ADORABLE gift card holder template to good use. (Thanks, Heather, for the template! And thanks, Beth, for "stumbling" upon it as well as sharing it in the challenge!)
Heather started with a 4.1/4 x 11 sheet of card stock. I used Afternoon Tea DSP. Score your card stock or paper at 3", 5.1/2", and 8". Fold like a "W" and adhere where neccessary for your gift card. Punch with desired punches to create your card opening. Voila!
I took the little 1" strip that was cut away from my 12x12 piece and used it to decorate the front of my card. I also utilized the little 1/2 circle that was punched for the opening of my gift card area and put it on the front near the knot of my ribbon.
LOVE this little pattern!!! (and the fact that I feel a bit more prepared for the shower this WE! he.)
