Started this earlier in the day, just for fun... Experimented with a couple of different options for making your own dp; will have to develop those later. Started this one by sponging certainly celery on white, then blended with a blender pen to make it a little more even. Stamped the canvas bg on top of that in craft white... let it dry and went somewhere else!
In the meantime, found out that a friend was in a car accident today and broke her arm, and messed up her leg pretty good... had to be cut out of the car. OUCH!
She loves green and nature, and I was already planning on using leaves, so this naturally became a get well card for her. Stamped the leaves on randomly, and that's the background.
Did faux leather (?) on the flowers and leaves, which are both from the 5-petal flower punch. Used eyelets for the flower centers... missed the crop-a-dile horribly (the eyelets are set in too far for the c-a-d to reach)!
Couldn't decide on a sentiment... we don't have any really good get well ones... and who wants to collect them? You generally hope that you don't need them, right? So I used "wish" from define your life, and inside I will put the "If wishes could make you well... you'd be better already!" from curvy verses.
And that ends the story of my card-making today... I think I wrote a book! =P
TFL!
