This is the scrapbook page I showed on stage during my Workshop Sample presentation at the Montreal Regionals.
I showed how to dry emboss a pattern on your cardstock using your paper cutter scoring blade. I also showed faux ribbon knot, scallops with the slot punch and picture corners with square punches.
The picture on the page's my Mom. (And no, I'm not a redhead like her, she's actually a redhead like me!) ;)¸
Edited to add Faux ribbon details:
To do a perfect bow without struggling with the paper (which is not thick enough to hold when you're trying to tie your bow), I cut a piece of ribbon slightly longer than the length of my paper and glue both ends on the back. Then, I tie a small piece of ribbon around that longer piece of ribbon and it *looks* as if I've tied the ribbon all the way around, but it's not. Added bonus: you can slide the bow around on the piece of ribbon and decide where you want to place it.

Love that dry embossing. I never even thought about using my scoring blade for that. I have to ask what is the faux ribbon knot. It looks like a perfect bow. please share the details on that. Thanks
