This card was started for the Rubbernecker Challenge this week. I guess it still sort of completes the challenge, but may be a stretch of the Blues challenge. We were asked to use Dark Blue, Light Blue and a Neutral.
I used a dark blue piece of Bazzill card stock for the base, I then used a light country blue piece ran thru my cuttlebug to emboss and inked with a cream color to high light. The "wood fence" is stamped with a background stamp from Cornish Heritage Farms. This kitty can be positioned in so many ways but I think he just looks so perfect pulling his claws, so I sanded and then high lighted the "scratched" area. Kitty is colored in with my copics, I tried to layer the ink to make it look like hair. The motto is stamped onto the same light blue card stock then inked the edges. Ok, now are those flowers awesome or what! I found them in the bridal section of Micheals in the cutest little see thru pail... that I plan to alter real soon! They have a shimmer to them, then I stickled with a light blue, for the centers.
