I had to make ones of those "sad" cards today. Don't really like having to make these, but it is nice to let someone know you care during that time.
This was a pretty simple plain card. I masked the top and the bottom with a curvy scrap of paper. I sponged the darker inks on top of the card, and the lighter inks on the bottom. I stamped a lone tree in basic brown. Typed the sentiment on the computer, cut it out, rounded the corners and chalked the edges.
I carried the tree theme throughout the card, a couple trees inside and one on the back. TFL :0)

Very Pretty. It reminds me of "The Tree of Life" in Bahrain. A 400 year old tree sits in the middle of the dessert, with no logical reason for being since there is no water in the dessert. Its existance is a mystery. Thanks for sharing.
