Well, this past week's Ways To Use It challenge was to use rub-ons. I don't know about anyone else, but after SAB I have a TON of the Love and Happiness rub-ons! For the first time ever, I have managed to creat a card that invloves absolutely NO stamping (gasp)!
Well, I decided that I wanted to use some dp from the Hostess Level 1 prints pack. I really liked the wasabi, so I ended up making a green monochromatic card. The lower panel is the wasabi Prints Pack dsp, and it is matted with handsome hunter and garden green cs. The main image panel is wild wasabi cs, and is also matted with handsome hunter and garden green. On the top wasabi panel, I added the white flourish rub on from Love and Happiness. I also added some of the flowers around the flourish. In the left corner I added the sentiment from the same rub-on set. I felt like my card was naked, so I added the white dots in the corner of the main image panel, and around the edges of the hunter and garden mat panels. I used my signo white gel pen and the piercing template to add all of the dots. Finally, I added the white prima with the green rhinestone brad, to the main image panel.
I am really happy with how my no-stamping card turned out, and I am loving the rub-ons! Thanks for looking and I hope you like it!
