Wanted to use this set for my sil's anniversary card, and wanted to try a new technique I learned from Michelle Zinforf - the "table-top" technique. Her card using this technique is here: Putting it on the Table by Zindorf at Splitcoaststampers - with a link to her blog for instructions. I love all her tutorials!
Recipe below:
Used markers and stamped the flowers; Used black craft ink and clear ep for the poem vase. Then shaded the vase, used the Versamark pen and embossed the entire vase and flowers image. Used post-it notes for masking, brayered the "table" and background above the table, used another post-it as a mask and sponged the border. Then sponged around the vase and flowers to *try* for a shadow effect (need some practice here). Stamped & embossed the tag using Black Craft and clear EP, hand-wrote the sentiment, popped the main image panel and tag and... here it is. TFL

This is beautiful and I could see a Zindorf resemblance as soon as I saw it! I have been playig with brayering like Michelle uses in her blog tutorials as well. Awesome card!
