I loved the rainbow look of the dress in the inspiration photo. I used the baby wipe technique to color glossy cardstock and stamped the butterfly in black and cut it out. Then I stamped it on vellum and cut that out. I cut a strip of garden green and used the fiskars "grass" texture plate in my cuttlebug and cut the top edge with my 'grass' scissors. Added two layers of flowers from Heidi Snap, a black center and stickled the center to give it dimension. Sadly, you cannot see the vibrant color of the butterfly! I wish you could because she's really quite lovely!

I can see the shades of color on the butterfly - I'm sure it is much more vibrant in person. I hate it when the photos don't show the true colors of the card! You did a great job with this challenge.

You get a hint of the vibrancy of the butterfly on the right hand wing, thanks for the detailed description of how you made the card. Its like a detailed scene from a book. Thanks for playing!
