Hello and thank you for checking out my latest card design. The focal point is a cute little stamp that I picked up a little while ago called "Summer Days" by
Great Impressions. I stamped it in Stazon Black, then Prismacolored with mineral spirits. I sponged the edge of the image with SU Tempting Turquoise. I stamped the sentiment by Hero Arts in Stazon Black on the bottom of the image. The image was matted twice and paper pierced along the edges of the mats. I embossed the white cs with the Cuttlebug Blooms n' Dots (I think that's what it's called) and embellished with pink Jolee's flowers here and there to add interest to the background. I created a large scallop border along the bottom of card, and paper pierced the pseudo eyelet design using my SU mat pack. I embellished with green & white polka dotted grosgrain ribbon and pink & white polka dotted satin ribbon. I "Zots' glued the little brass flower pot charm under the pink & white polka dotted ribbon. It may be hard to see the detail of it because of the shadow, but it's really cute irl. What do you think of my Petals & Pedals?

It's a wonderfully pretty and summer-like card! I love that image that you colored so well, I might add. I also like the piercing you did on the scalloped portion.

This is adorable- what a cute image and terrific coloring. So envious of your paper piercing- it's just super.
