Did this one for Sharon's Challenge! It's been awhile since I've done anything with blocks of color like this so it was fun!
Check out her challenge details here under Friday, April 4th's post! Blogs at Splitcoaststampers
For my card, I cut three strips of paper in hot pink, red and purple and then lined them all up and stamped a large Hero Arts stamp over top all three at the same time with black ink. The background is actually a different stamp on the white. I used some of the flowers from the Silhouette Blooms I set from Cornish Heritage Farms. I also notched out the bright pink with a 1-1/4" circle punch and then also did this to the black mat, only I used a 1" for this layer. I used my slot punch to string some polka dot ribbon through and then added my Cuttlebug ribbon slide tag. The saying is by Impression Obsession (not yet released) and was stamped on a 1" punched circle.
Hope you can make time to play!

I LOVE this card!!! It just screams spring and happy days to me!!! I am a huge fan of black organdy and black matting and accents, so this is just right up my alley!!! Totally love it -- a super example of blocked colors!!! Thanks so much!!!
