Hi! This card was made for today's Color Combination Challenge: Creamy Caramel, Cameo Coral, Apricot Appeal and Mellow Moss.
All layers are HEAVILY sponged! This gives a DARKER look to the cardstock.
This is Harriott the Hippo...She's not kin to Happy Henna Hippo, but they do share the "Big Bottom" look! LOL!
Harriott the Hippo is pieced using the Paper Tole method. She was stamped on 2 different designer papers and then on Cameo Coral. I cut out the body, balloon, bow, and head and layered them. Each piece was outlined in SU! marker and the toe nails were painted in with the Signo Pen.
The small oval was made with my Coluzzle. The next two were made with Marvy Scalloped Oval Punches. I added dots with a SU! marker and Signo Pen.
The sentiment, Mellow Moss and Creamy Caramel panels and Cameo Coral scallop were outlined with a SU! marker.
The Creamy Caramel background was run through the Cuttlebug with the Swiss Dots folder.
The ribbon came from A.C.Moore and is an EXACT match to Cameo Coral!
