Well thanks are in order to Sharon for another fun no time to stamp challenge, though I always seem to stray from the NOTIME part...this weeks was to use paper piecing in your work...and Roxie's SC the current one, was perfect.
I couldn't help but go with ole blue eyes...what a suit...inked in Versacolor black and stamped on SU's soft sky. I first stamped Frank onto GP white cs and embossed his head and the glorious spats! The layout was just right to have the Happy (Technique Tuesday) on the small sentiment panel also stamped and embossed. The card base is soft sky which I stamped Judikins beaded curtain in Adirondacks slate. The rest of the papers are from the new Basic Grey Archaic group. I LOVE the 6x6 cardmaker pads!
I'll send this card off to my savvy dresser son, who was home for the weekend...we went shopping at the GOODWILL, of Course...he found a glen plaid suit jacket with matching vest, three dress shirts that require cuff links (which we found in the jewerly case), two ties and an Italian sweater vest for only $22!!! And he loves his finds...now that makes me want to do the Happy dance!!! I'm going now to take a spin...

Oh my gosh, I'm laughing!!! I love your card -- those surely are happy feet!!! But your story is making me smile just as much!!! What a wise and thrifty son you have!!! Funny about kids -- when they were in high school it had to be expensive clothes, certain brands -- when college hits, Goodwill is the thing -- LOL!!! I love the fun displayed in all your work -- thank you so much for playing!!!
