I've just discovered Zindorf's work and brilliance and have been absorbed in studying her work all weekend. I don't often produce much for all the time I spend on cards, but this weekend I finished about 6 cards just playing with the brayer and reading Zindorf's tutorials.
This was done as using the embossed resist technique for the swirls at the bottom and the Delight in Life image at top. "To everything there is a season", the saying that surrounds the dragonfly makes a beautiful sentiment for a sympathy card. It's done using a brayer and stippling around the edges - almost makes the blended colors look green. I had fun doing this one and am not a bit hooken on using the brayer. Check out Zindorf - she was featured this week. I went to her member gallery then kept digging and found her tutorials for different cards. She's inspirational. I also love Stampscapes and nature stamps and will incorporate her bright colors, brayers and the statmpscapes stamps as I experiment. Thanks so much Zindorf!!!!!!
