It's a piece I cross stitched for her and she had it framed. She's planning to decorate her kitchen with grapes and ivy, and this is going in the dining room--she's got another peacock I cross stitched for her in the living room, so I guess this is kind of a bridge piece Trust me, it's prettier IRL than it is in the pic; there's a lot of metallic thread on it for shine that just doesn't show up on the picture.
I tried the Ink, Spray, Smash technique...I had three sheets of glossy white CS and only managed to salvage enough bits for three card fronts. I think I shoulda started out with some lighter colors for that technique.

How pretty, Christy...I love the background layer and the beautifully colored grape images....this color combo is one of my all time favorites...beautifully done!!

Oh my word!!!!!! What an absolutely incredible cross stitch piece!! I have never been able to stick with it and make something that big and detailed!! AMAZING!! And this challenge card is a fantastic match!!!

Wow, beautiful! The peacock and this inspired work. Love the fullness of the colors. They do come out in contrast with the white. If this is just a glimpse of reality, can only imagine what it is like in real life. Great work, as usual oh gifted one.
