This is my second submission for LSC161, Why Oh Why? I have several ribbons I have bought along the way and have never even removed the plastic protective coating. I am a sucker for ribbon, especially if it is something I know my Granddaughter would like... like soft pastels, flowers, butterflies, etc. Well, today's challenge made me take a second look at all these ribbons and I determined to get at least a few of them out and use them somehow. The problem with this particular ribbon is that the shade of pink it is does not go with anything. It is a different shade than pretty in pink and everything else I have.
I was so inspired recently by Sue Nelson's gorgeous work, especially her white on white cuddlebug projects, found at www.heartprints.net. I decided to use one of these basic ideas to use some of these ribbons. Here is the first.
It's so basic and simple, but I love simple elegance, so this pleases me. Hope you like it as well. I tried a prima on this and didn't like it. Had a white one, dyed it "pretty in pink" and it looked awful, so I embossed one single bloom in white ep from In Full Bloom, on pink vellum. I think my Granddaughter will like this.
Thanks for taking the time to look, and tell me what you think!

I love your card, swiss dots is one of my favorites, and the single bloom is just right. I have checked out Sue Nelson's work as well, it is so beautiful.
