I made a set of these for a friend's baby shower. I stamped the monkeys onto thin chipboard and cut them out, wow a lot of work! I tied the card together with raffia for a natural jungle look. The bottom of the front says Baby.

I used a 12x12 sheet of earthy green craft paper and cut it in half. I just folded it till the ends came together in the center. They are rather large and will not fit in most standard envelopes, so you may want to size them down a little or buy larger envelopes like I did. I stamped the vines in a random downward pattern. I also added a little foliage to the ground by stamping a few leaves on the ground. I stamped the monkeys on lightweight chipboard. They really stand out on the card. I just placed two holes with my punch so I could tie my raffia in a bow. The monkey theme is really a fun theme!
If you look at Martha Stewart.com she did a monkey shower theme last summer on her site. You could look up her ideas in her archives. She had some great ideas! If you have any questions, you can email me at [email protected]
