Its Wednesday....time for another challenge with my Sassy friends! Today's challenge was to do
something faux on our card. I chose Faux sewing, since its quick and easy (and I love using All in a Row ~ thanks Beate) to create the look. I started with the yummy, delicious, beautiful Afternoon Tea DP. I'm going to have to order many packs of this stuff......I just love it! I also used last week's sketch challenge for the layout, but turned it around to make a long card. The 3 different DP patterns are faux sewn together. Its hard to see, since goofy me covered it up with the main panel, but I used the All in a Row stitch stamp to create the look.I stamped the image from Live Your Dream with 3 different ink colors, taken from the DP. The flowers are Groovy Guava, stems are Wild Wasabi, and flower centers are Chocolate Chip. I used the corner of the ink pads for the flower and stems, and then took a chocolate chip marker and coloring in the center and along the inner edge of the petals. I misted it with water and then stamped it onto watercolor paper. I created the scallops with a pair of Fiskar's scissors. The Thanks sentiment was stamped on the bottom, with chocolate chip ink. I also stamped the butterfly on the top left because that space needed something to fill it.

excellent placement, wonderful choice of colors -- the dark interior of the flowers is inspired -- and wow can you ever use those scallop scissors well!
