I am making my own wedding invitations. Still playing around with the design but I think I really like this. The outside cover is paper from Michaels and then you take the ribbon off and inside is the invite.

I, too think this one is much richer (elegant) looking! You go girl!!! These are terrific. And, Kudos to you for making your invitations along with everything else that goes along with planning a wedding!!!

I made my SIL invitations - part of our gift - and she chose a "jacket" like that....we used eyelets so the ribbon stayed attached....so I must say, I do like this style
