I've been out of pocket all week, celebrating my 60th b-day (Oh, My!), and just had a chance to take a look at the challenges. I must admit, the color challenge of Kraft, Orchid Opulence and Sage Shadow has been very hard- the gallery is full of great creations, but I just couldn't seem to make it work for me.
So, my effort involves lots of gold embossing powder and some delicate cutting. Got this pretty butterfly stamp as a b-day gift and cut, embossed, sponged, layered and viola- a nice shiny card. I used the stipple stamp from Oh, So Lovely to make a background for the orchid and sage layers. All in all, it looks quite good and will be lovely for an anniversary or wedding card this summer.
TFL and see ya soon, Diane

WOW! This is drop dead gorgeous!! I'm with you...the color challenge was too challenging and I had to pass. But you had your thinking cap on for this one - cover it EP to soften it up but yet add galmour. I LOVE it!!
