This was a very neat challenge, Roxie, thanks so much! I had no doubt what color and papers I would use for this and might just work on another...
My floral panel consists of papers from Hot off the Press:Paper Pizazz pansies & hydrangeas...the other is Colorbok lavender fields. My paper border is Flavia lavender diamonds. I stamped my stitches from an awesome sheet of unmounteds by Starving Artistamps...one in Brilliance coffeebean and the floral stitch is inked in Brilliance moonlightwhite. My card base is SU's soft sky. I used Autumn Leaves word swirls for the beauty is all around swirly's at the top using ColorBox sepia black pigment ink. At the bottom I used a straight stitch (that is crooked...this is ART ya'll!!!). Now for my sentiment...the one I had originally intended was too large...I was in my image book measuring sentiments...it is SO handy to flip pages of stamps...are you ladies and gents keeping up on *your* image books? I was very happy to find the perfect size in this Impression Obsession Flower quote. I used Kaleidoscope paper inked the sentiment in sepia black and embossed in clear. This was matted in black and shimmer white with 1/16" mats---popped on dots
I loved the way this sketch turned out...I like the different flowers...some big and bold, some small and velvety, and some willowy and smelling heavenly...kind of like US...thanks for reading and sharing your comments!

Love Love Love it! Love the floral dps, love the sentiments. It's perfect! What's this about an image book? Do you have to unmount all your stamps to do that? Sorry but I'm behind the times here I guess.

Lovely rich colours in your paper - and great idea to stamp your stitches - I've got some stitches I could pull out too!! Love your bold sentiment panel!!! Gorgeous card! And , no I don't have an image inventory book - just a phenomonal memory, thank you!
