Here's my story (a la Cindy, aka Mothermark)
1. Our colleague, my dear friend and SIL, officially retired this month.
2. We wanted to have a party for her.
3. She would only allow us to have a party if we could come to her house.
4. We said we would only come to her house, if we could bring the food.
5. Another colleague volunteered her husband (the cook in the family) to make soup and dessert.
6. Les made the most wonderful spicy soup and an absolutely killer dessert (white chocolate mousse with a raspberry coulee)
7. I found this image of a dessert flute in my stash
8. This is the thank you card I made for Les.
