Measurements: Sentiment panel including black border – 2 x 2 ¼”.
Wide panel broke into three: 2 3/8” up and down by - flower paper: 1 3/8”, dotted panel: 2”, ladybug panel (look close they are there) 2 1/8”, bottom strip across is ½”, the top stripe is ¼”.
After cutting all the designer paper were taped together to form one piece and then attached to the black cardstock with only a 1/16” border at top and bottom. Hope that helps!
-The cut out flowers and leaves are colored with Prismacolor pencils and mineral spirits for blending. They were sculpted by using the largest end of my largest ball stylus and moving it in a circular motion staying off the very edge.
The centers were inked up using a VersaMark pen and then heat embossed with clear powder. This popped the black color out a bit.
The largest flower is mounted on two ¼” punched cardstock circles for a little extra height which made it easier to slide the smaller flower under it and still look natural. All leaves and flowers are tacky glued to the card panel.
-The sentiment panel started off as white, I stamped the sentiment and then stamped with the Scratched Grid from CHF and heat embossed in clear. This acted as my resist as I rubbed/sponged on Sahara Sand. This worked great to match it to the designer paper background.
Before attaching this panel to the card I cut a scrap piece of cardstock just a little smaller than the black and glued it to the back to give the card some a little depth. I have to keep the bulk to a minimum for the charities I send to.
-That is faux stitching you see on the card using a gel pen.
-The designer paper from the Daisy Bucket DesignÂ’s Whimsical Ladies Royal Court line has four separate patterns in equal squares on the front and the back is a full sheet of one print. ThatÂ’s pretty cool for coordinating a project!
