The first thing I thought of when I saw the color combo was some absolutely gorgeous orchids they have for sale at a Japanese store out in town. I mean, just *gorgeous*. I'd love to have some but a) they're really expensive and b) it would take me less than a week to kill them, I'm all black thumbs. Well anyway, I pulled out my two Asian sets with flowers and tried to make an homage to the orchids I can't buy. I think I've seen some fake ones somewhere though, those I couldn't kill...hmm.
Leaves are stamped on the Kraft CS with Sage Shadow ink; I colored part of the flowers with an Orchid Opulence marker and then watercolored the rest so it would have some shading to it, and then I sponged on a bit of Sage Shadow ink around my flowers. Nothing really spectacular but that seems to be my par lately...I think this card would have benefited from some Chocolate Chip thrown in the mix for contrast.

I really like this - you've convinced me, I need to stop putting off buying that set! I think the Kraft is perfect for an Asian inspired card, there's something about the texture of it that really works. TFS!
