Hi! It's Monday, which means it's time again for another challenge I do every week with a group of SCS friends. This week, Tosha, (Stamps4funinCA), challenged us to use vellum on our card. I can't even remember the last time I used vellum, so it was fun to pull it back out and get the creative juices flowing!
I embossed by vellum with my Stylized Flower embossing folder. I wanted some color to my flowers, so I turned over the vellum and colored the leaves and flowers with my SU markers in varying shades of pink, regal rose, and red rose and certainly celery for the leaves and stems. I adhered my vellum to a piece of white cardstock with regal rose brads. I then paper pierced this panel (for Notimetostamp's challenge).
Since I wanted this soft pretty panel of flowers to show, I chose to embellish my card with these pretty Making Memories ribbons. The little Happy Bday sentiment tag is also a piece of vellum adhered to a tag from my Simply Scrappin supply and adhered with dimensionals.
TFL and have a zippity-doo-dah stamping day!!!
EDIT: Well, this doesn't happen to me very often, but, after I uploaded my CCEE challenge card, I went to check out today's Technique Challenge and discovered that my card fits that challenge! Great challenge, Ann, and thanks for hosting!

Great card - cool how you covered all the challenges. Really like how you have the ribbon and tag on the card.

Wow! What are the chances of that happening! Way cool! I love your card Bertie! It is so pretty, so soft, so feminine! You did get your creative juices flowing for sure! Love the vellum (on your card!) not generally speaking! Hee!
You have a zippity do dah day at work, that is where I will be having mine! Blah!
