This is my take on Inspiration Challenge #119. When I saw Dylan's Candy, I knew I wanted to use this image by Whipper Snapper.
I initially attempted to incorporate all of the colors found in the inspiration piece, but got a bit overwhelmed and the image seemed too busy. So, I then reduced the color palette to what would be found in a classic roll of Life Savers.
I stamped the Whipper Snapper image with Marvy Dye black onto Georgia Pacific cardstock. I colored the image with Copic Markers and Prismacolor pencils. A little bit of Crystal Stickles was added to add a little sparkle.
The red panel is stamped with Marvy Dye black ink repeatedly with a texture cube from Just For Fun, though the photo doesn't really show this.
Sentiment stamped with Karen Foster Snap Stamps.
Patterned paper and other colored cardstock from Hollo's was used, along with colored brads and ribbon.
Thanks for such a sweet challenge, and thanks for looking.
