Thanks Sharon for another fun ssnotime challenge...if you haven't checked Sharon's blog...go!
notimetostamp.blogs.splitcoaststampers.com always lots of beautiful things there and Sharon does keep us on our toes!
I'm in Easter mode and spring colors so this card is also! I wanted to see if I could do a simple card as I seem to always gussy up...I believe I accomplished it here! I used the lovely floral bg image from SU inked in VersaMagic purple hydrangea (it took 4 inkings before I was happy with the results...but I did manage to use one of the rejects on my CELEBRATE LIFE card if you want to check it out...we don't waste anything girls, do we!!!) which I embossed in clear...this adds a slight shine to the overall feel of the card. I stamped my blessing on MME Bohemia bella paper, 'the little moments'. I used an oval frame from Purple Onion for the sentiment. I cut the butterfly from same paper, paper piercing part of it as per Sharons' challenge. I wrinkled it for texture. My ribbon is from Martha...on ridiculous clearance at M's. Su's soft sky is cuttlebugged with the D'vine swirls embossing folder.
Thanks for looking and blessings to you.

That floral backgrounder is just gorgeous Susan- I'm surprised you have SU stuff - I'm just gradually beginning to do so. Anyway, this is gorgeous, love the bit of shine from the embossing , the butterfly looks real - and love your velvet ribbon.
Good for you on the Easter mode - me, I have a sister that married an April 1st husband and then had two now teenagers on March26 and 27 - so I fear I am in birthday card mode...... Don't you think my sister could have planned her family a little better sigh!
