Using a lot of the techniques I learned from Michelle Zindorff's blog, I made this sympathy card. I spent several years as a young child in Salina Kansas and always got a sense of serenity from seeing fields of wheat. Being raised in Germany, wheat fields were unique to me. Brayered on Buckaroo Blue, then yo yo yellow and then sponged black stazon for the horizon. Sponged on a bit of mustard along the horizon to give it a sunsetty look. I stamped the wheat with black stazon. I forgot to mention I punched a circle out and meant to use it but only remembered after brayering one layer of yellow. I masked it on anyway. Cut the layered ovals using Creative Memories shape makers and added the sentiment from a collection of left-over rub ons. The ribbon trim was an after thought and found in the ol scrap pile.

what a gorgeous scene: It's a masterpiece! Should I call the gallery at the NYC museum, or do you want to handle this? Either way, I can assist you in getting national recognition on this one....it's so deserving of at least that!
