After I finished my first featured stamper card with free-handed piercing, I finally found my mat stack, so I had to try another one. One thing I love about this challenge is that it pushes to me to do things that I don't normally try, like faux stitching.
My card is inspired by BeckyTE's Country Snowgirl. I decided to stick with her 'girl' theme and do a funky AstroGirl instead. I paper pieced part of her suit. When I was looking for an accent to go on my corner, I remembered the Step Outside Your Box Saturday bead challenge, and used a cool silver spacer bead. Thanks for the inspiration.

Oh, Stef, I just cant believe what you've gone and done here! Yikes, is this ever special! I love how wove the concept of 'believe' into your card. How amazing....to see a femal astronaut! Now that's something to believe it. You got it going on, Stef, with this one ~ it's a winner!

Great Faux stitching It looks very authentic - like a slightly loose bobin! hehe! I often wonder which would take longer to do, faux or true!. I like your little robot guy too - great DP for the image. Did I mention I like your card alot?
