I'm still trying to come up with crafts to do with my DD's kindergatren class and Sparks/Brownies group! *sigh*
I found some cute little terra cotta pots at the $ store (3 for a buck) and thought they would be cute for a little paper bouquet. However, they take two coats of paint and I don't think we have the time for that and I'm not willing to do that much extra prep...I think I'll stick with the Treat Critters for both classes!!!!
I painted the the pot, placed a bit of floral foam at the bottom and filled in the rest with Easter grass. I made the bunny with punches and googlie eyes. The handle is a pipe cleaner (it's just kind of stuffed in there, you couldn't pick it up by the handle). I used my sizzix dies and CB for the flowers (I got some of the new folders today). I glued the flowers to wooden skewers and stabbed them into the floral foam. Throw in a couple of chocolate eggs and jelly beans.....ta-da...a cute little Easter decoration!!!
I'll probably make these with just my kids...I somehow doubt the eggs will ever make it into the basket though!!!
Thanks for lookin'!!!
