I needed a quick thank you card, something I could actually finish in an hour or so. Since I'm terrible at doing CAS (clean and simple) cards, I searched the gallery under Thank You, and found this beauty Curvy Thank You by Vervegirl at Splitcoaststampers
by Shadowcatcher which I then shamelessly cased.
Yeah, it's silly, but I just can't seem to handle CAS w/o a road map. Give me CAD (complicated and detailed) and I'm a happy camper. I did add some cutting and layering of the medallion so I would feel like I was really working hard. As I was finishing, I remembered the white based card challenge a while back and checked, sure enough this fit that. So there you go.
All I did was kinda draw a wavy line and cut it w/ scissors. Stamped the greeting in the lower right corner. Attached this to a piece of lined black paper (I noticed later that while Shadowcatcher had hers going vertically, mine are horizontal and I really liked the vertical. Oh well.) Edged the white w/ black and vice versa for the black.
Added some hot pink ribbon and attached to a white note card. Stamped the medallion pieces (clear set by Paper Parachute) cut out and layered. Dotted a few areas w/ the hot pink marker. Did the dots w/ the glaze pens and I was done. TFL

oh, this is beautiful...again a fabulous medallion...I'm with you on the CAD's...it's the CAS's that also cause me fits. I think this is a super case of the original.

Another elegant beauty.
