Seth took a nap today so I finally got a chance to stamp for the first time in several days. I wasn't sure what I wanted to do. Finally decided I wanted to try a unique fold card (this one is double folded at the bottom and I will flip the bottom down to sign the card). I was also determined to use summer sun, a color I seem to rarely pull out. For the stamping, I wanted to use my new Lots of Thoughts Sell-a-Bration stamp set as well as an old favorite, Doodle This (surely you haven't forgotten this beautiful stamp set already!)
I used a black marker to make the stitch lines. I stamped the flower from Doodle this twice in black ink....once on summer sun cardstock and once on whisper white cardstock. I then cut both flowers out and colored in the one on white cardstock with a summer sun marker. I curled up the edges of the flowers to give them a little dimension. I really love how the yellow pops against the white and black.
