I made these cards for my daughter's thank you cards for her birthday. These were the thank you cards I made for her to give to family members and adults. I am impatiently waiting for spring to arrive, so I decided to make a spring feeling card.
I would have rathered a stamped thank you image that was longer and narrow to stamp along the bottom of the card, but I didn't have one (I'll have to work on getting one).
I made the patterned paper using the one sheet wonder technique. I used the longer narrow stamp from the 'In Full Bloom' stamp set and I stamped it at an angle over an entire 8 1/2" x 11" paper with black staz-on ink and then I colored it in with my SU markers. (Which took like forever) Then I cut the paper to size, and used my versa mark pad, heat and stick powder, and DD glitter to create the glitter on the cards. Usually, I just use iridescent ice embossing powder, but I'm almost out of it and I had to find another way to create my glitter.
I did make thank you cards for my daughter's birthday for her friends. The card I made for her to give to her friends that attended her birthday party can be seen here:
