This is my card for todays inspiration challenge, I can NOT beleive I got to 3 challenges in 2 days, oh happy day! So I know the inspiration was from Country Living magazine, but I found it to be more retro than country with the bright colors and geometric shapes. Going with the retro theme I instantly thought of this background paper I bought a few weeks ago. I have wanted to use it but could never bring anything together with it until today. I also have desperatley been wanting to ink up my Elephant! I just layered the patterned paper and the chocolate chip and cameo coral. I used my white gel pen to make the patter on the Cameo. I paper pieced my elephant, I had orginally watercolored him but I was not happy with it, plus I have become OBSESED with paper piecing . I think he looks rather darling in the the turquoise! I watercolored the flowers/hearts and added stickels. I think this came out so cute, considering I have not stamped like this in weeks I am very happy with the result. Thanks so much for looking!

And just where in LI do you live? Geez, I dont remember when I lived in Garden City last year, we were able to have a pig? Good for you! Tell me, how do you mange this? You must be one heck of a smooth talker. Nonetheless, it's a darling avatar. Love him/her. Her pink nose would go really well with those old pink refrigerators, dont you think?

Hello? Can you believe I read pig instead of pug? All the lights are on, but, unfortunately, I'm not home. See, it's a good thing I no longer live on LI: I just never fit in, and you can certianly see why, no doubt. Your pug is darling. Oh, thank God I have that straight now!,
