I found my inspiration on the top of the fridge. I am short....5' 2". The top of the fridge has always fascinated me. People put a lot of stuff up there. I always would forget to dust....cause let's face it....if I cannot see the dust, does it really exist? When I designed my kitchen cabinets, I had a cabinet made so my fridge would sit flush so I never have to worry about people seeing my dust or others throwing stuff up there.
The inspiration photo fridge had hardly anything up there, but this green and white square box, something red, and what looks like a bird of some sort. I recreated that. I did cuttlebug the green stripes to created texture. I embossed my bird in white, did a real red sponge wash over him, and then buffed the excess red off. I sponged the edges of the ww and ss to create some depth. I used my so many scallops to create my sentiment and to ballance out the layout. Combined all of that together with a long and low card and soft sky wall for a fun bday card!!!!

Me, too - I used to be 5'2" - now I'm 5' - you're right, Betty, if you can't see it, it doesn't exist. Your card, however, does exist and I love it - love how you cb'd and then cut stripes!

Awesome take on the inspiration. I didn't catch that striped box until the 3rd or 4th look see, but it sure makes for a beautiful card here. Love how you did the stripes.

This has been a good inspiration this week and it has been so fun to see just what everyone took from it. This is really a cool take. You really picked up on those green and white stripes and the cute little bird!

Believe me *little* girl, it exists! I am only 5' 6' and I can see plenty of dust! My son is 6'5" (holy cow, he's a foot taller than you) and believe me he has a bird's eye view. You had a great idea....tall people can come visit and no worries!!!
Okay, the card...it is precious...Love how you were inspired, your card is another beauty!
