This card started out as a triple challenge, but I dropped the sketch part of it because it was going in another direction that I liked better. The 'split negative' and 'embossing powder' challenges work wonderfully well together. I embossed scrollworks by Inkadinkado in light blue on orange c/s and in gold on bright turquoise c/s. Image was cut in half and fitted together. Layered a piece of DCWV dp in the center and on top of that a round punch of the same scrollworks stamp in reverse. The 2 center pieces are layered over thin cardboard rather than foam tape. Light blue and orange snaps added. Base is same c/s as center square...it actually mimics the stamp quite closely. I couldn't bear to add a sentiment - it would have thrown off the symmetry. It will be a birthday card for a male cousin.
