This is for notimetostamp's sketch challenge ssnotime22. This is the first time I've tried her challenges. I love her work. It's so beautiful.
This is also the first time I've inked up my Morning Soft set. I bought it because I want to learn how to watercolor and I thought this set would be a good one to start with. Needless to say, I'm still waiting to get my watercolor paper and Aquapainters, so I opted to use pastels and a blender pen instead. I've got a lot of practicing to do! I think the flowers are too flat looking. Not enough highlights. My 9 year old daughter could have done the same. It's a start though!
The edges are distressed and inked with Elegant Eggplant. I added the SU! sheer organdy ribbon, even though it's retired. I miss the organdy ribbon. It's so soft and elegant.
Thanks for looking!

Oh my goodness, this is so, so beautiful!!! It reminds me how much I used all the purple shades years ago -- WHY don't I pull them out any more!!! Oh my, this is certainly making me want to use them!!! Your coloring is wonderful!!! I, too, hope to improve my coloring skills this year -- LOL!!! This layout is perfect for your image and I love the green DP and the pretty ribbons -- a GORGEOUS card!!! So glad you played -- thanks so much!!!
