New layout, all done with SU! stuff. It actually showcases many uses of rub-ons, although it wasn't planned that way when I first started the page:
- used on pictures
- used on ribbon
- used on watercolor paper for the watercolor resist technique
- used on a flower
- used on an embossed chipboard piece
I just got the Spring Break papers and the name of the paper pack says it all. As soon as I opened it, I just wanted to scrap some vacations pictures taken under the sun. Too bad I've just finished my Florida album, but I did have one picture leftover so I used it.
The page is designed around the scrapbook sketch SBSC100. The holder shown in the sketch was just the push I needed to break in my new Hodgepodge Hardware kit.
To make the circles more interesting, I added a button on one, a punched arrow on another, a scalloped circle under the chipboard circle, and I used paper snips to cut fringes around the bottom orange circle. The center was decorated with a flower ribbon slider on which I tied a rickrack bow.
