I combined 3 challenges: Going back to an early challenge, I used the Faux Postage technique on this Non-traditional Valentine. The sketch is recent. Since the postage keeps changing, and the template for the faux postage still had .39 on it, I designed my own template in Excel - so I have an old .05 postcard rate. The masked area is sponged with Paintbox pigment ink in several shades from the rainbow pad. The Hero Arts stamps are postage stamps from around the world, but only a bit of each is showing in this technique. All the edges (of everything) are sponged with Ranger tea dye Distress Ink. The dp is by Provo Craft - postcard print and sky with clouds. The postage is matted with sienna c/s and mounted on foam tape. I actually found the 'type', complete with silver edges, all over a gift bag at Hallmark and punched them out with a small round paper punch. This one will go to a cousin who is a writer!
Edit: I totally forgot to add that the inside says "you're just my type!"
