Edited. Thank you MudMaven for your suggestion... I think the red-bling is the perfect finishing touch on here!
This card evolved from a number of things. Brayered background (Pale Plum, Perfect Plum, & Elegant Eggplant) is a Zindorf inspiration. Last week I took a class at a local stamp store on colored pencils & vellum (this image was stamped in Stazon on vellum then colored on the back with SU's WaterColor Pencils, THEN cover the back of the colored-pencil application (only) in white-out... your stuff will 'pop'). And the last inspiration in this card came from Nichole Heady's Blog on Polka Dots (scroll down): http://nicholeheady.typepad.com/capt...troducing.html . And then added after initial posting upon suggestion from MudMaven, the red rhinestone bling in the ribbon slider.
The stamped layered vellum "assembly" is up on dimensionals. (... and I did no sponging of edges on this card, however, I did use a sponge-brayer...).

I think it is very very pretty just the way it is! The background sets it off very nicely. I love that set, can't wait for mine to come!! My husband just came in and said "tell her you don't fix what's not broken, that's a great card.

Thanks for the advanced techniques...
I crave the detailed ideas and even though the photos don't
show all the detail you described it very well.. I have tried the penciling and markers on the back of a velum image but not the watercolor and white-out. God Bless &
TFS!

Looks great! Was fine before, but I do think the bling added something! One of my stampers came in to show me some cards she had made using this set and I showed her yours and she really liked it. I could see the creative wheels spinning wildly!
