This is for LS154 to make non traditional Valentine's. I read the rules this morning and all I seemed to concentrate on was the no red or pink rule. I failed to look at it again when I got home tonight and just started in making my mustard, brown, olive and brocade blue Valentine. While I was writing my blog article I popped back in to check the rules so I could quote them correctly. Doh!!!! I saw that I was not allowed to use flowers or hearts. I had worked hard on the card so decided to upload it anyway. That is what I get for not checking out the rules when I get home. I hope Amber won't call the challenge police.

Kittie,
Your card is so pretty, even if you broke the rules! LOL! I broke the rules too, on my initial try. The border stamp I used had hearts and flowers in it, and i didn't realize it until it was stamped! Great card.

Rule breaking??? Huh???? I see a gorgeous designed flower wreath that is slightly bent inward at the top...don't you? Love your coloring as always. Fabulous layout and created texture.

Ah well, we all get caught in that trap now and then! But I'm sure glad you uploaded the card anyway Kittie, because it is so very special and so pretty! And I love the heart wreath, and the way you colored it! TFS!
